Praxis Test Score Reports are Returned Within 2-3 Weeks Time, Application Continuance is Currently Allowed Until May 10th, 2024 Based on Possible Score Return Windows. After the Provided Timeframe Has Passed, Scores Can Be Accepted But Enrollment May Be Deferred To a Future Term.

Program Requirements - Certification & Job Placement

A critical part of the Accelerated Teacher Certification program and progression towards completion is to apply, be offered, and accept a position as a Teacher of Record with one of our partner districts with assistance from RISPE. Though this requirement is not essential for admission, placement and employment as a Teacher of Record is a mandatory condition towards certification and recommendation to RIDE.

Program Requirements - Science of Reading & Structured Literacy

Applicants must do one of the following to be considered for admission to our program in regards to Proficiency in the Science of Reading and Structured Literacy: (1) Upload proof of proficiency and completion of a state-approved provider of proficiency expectations and/or (2) Document proof of registration and the anticipated completion date of a state-approved provider of proficiency expectations, or (3) Agree to complete the AIM Pathway to Proficient Reading Program as part of their enrollment agreement and an extension of the RISPE academic program requirements. Candidates who choose this option will register through RISPE with the option of a payment plan as part of their RISPE tuition.

Program Requirements - Registration & Payment

The Multilingual Learners Endorsement pathway at RISPE focuses on developing professionals with English language acquisition and is designed to help provide equitable learning experiences for all students. While you will receive proof of completion, this pathway does not provide a "certificate' or "certification" but is an endorsement.
